I is so ecited! I made a new furiend, Oskar! His mommy has a really nice blog fur him and his kitty furends. You shuld check it out. I sent in a picsure and Oskar put it up as photo of day!!! I is dancin in da livin room while mommy and daddy are finking I hafa go out! :D

So one day earlier dis summer mamma and daddy cides dey wants to take a trip! I loves goin fur rides! Mommy says I gonna see fings I prolly never saw afore! I gets really really happys when mamma grabs my leash! So I started dancin round da living room while mamma and daddy grabs my food, food bowls, water bowl, water jug (daddy says I never go wifout waters!) and my treats.
Next fing I know, we is in da van. I of course gets my seat all to myself!

Mommy and daddy get real happy when dey travel too. Dey laugh alot and mommy is always takin picsures of sumpin (usually me!) wif her camra.
Her gots real cited for me when we went into Illinois. I's not even sure where dat is!



We seen dis huuuuge cross on da side of da road. Mommy oooo'd and awwwww'd over it!


Mommy likes to talk to me when I is just trying to get a nap in. Her says I is gonna love da Arch. What is dis Arch her speaks of? What is it for? I never heards of such a fing. So I is gettin really cited to see dis. Why is it so far away tho I wonder. Then mommy starts saying fings like...oh....oh..what is that I see??

Den...dere it is....a huuuuuuuuge big metal fing reaching da sky! Mommy says her has been here afore, daddy hasn't so me and him get to explore for da first time.


Has yu ever been here?? Mommy of course had to stop and get pix at the "leg" of dis arch fing. I thought I was big...wow...standing dere, I is a wil guy compared to dis big place.
I like going places but peoples comes running up all da time and dey scares me. I know, I is big, I shuld not be scareds, but I is. Too many peoples wants picsures of me wif dere lil peoples. I is ok I guess, just wish sometimes dat I was normal like udder dogs. Mommy says I is a vewy good guy for gettin all dose picsures and I will get special treats for actin likes a gentleman.

So we walks around and looks at all kinds of fings, dere are so many udder doggies dere dat I culd become furiends wif! I like dis place!

Mommy hasa talk to peoples, her says to get da right informasin for my blog. Do yu know why dis fing was built? We found out and its really interstin!

It was a public forum as well as a courthouse. Slaves were auctioned from its steps in estate settlements, while one man's suit for freedom helped plunge the country into Civil War. The Old Courthouse was the site of hundreds of suits for freedom, but one gained notoriety. In 1847, Dred Scott, with his wife Harriet, sued for, and were granted, their freedom. After many appeals, the case was decided upon by the Supreme Court. The decision stated that slaves were property, and as such, had no right to sue. The Dred Scott Decision hastened the start of the Civil War."


We had funs walking around  and looking at what mommy called da great missipi river.

There was even gamblin boat and helicoppers dere!


When we cided we had enuff of da  arch we had to go hunt for cash mommy says. Her says "garages need to take cards!" I not know what dis means! But I gots to ride in lelevator!


All in all I'd say it was a nice trip. We live in Indianapolis so mommy says it was a really good one day trip. Daddy loved it too since him had nevr seen it afore eeefer. I is glad mommy and daddy likes to travel, I gets to ride in my van all da time, I gets to visit new places and I can share fun stuffs wif all my bloggy furiends!

You know, I dusnt member de actual date...but it is my "gotcha day anniversary"! It has been 1 year since I came here to live wif my mommy and daddy! I can't bewieve its a year already. I has had so much fun, been to too many places...like camping (thats going to be a fun post to put up), and I went to da Arch ( I has picsures too I will put up here soon). I sleep wif my mommy in the big bed most of da time, but I like to go on da couch wif my daddy to make sure his back is alright! I get really good food and lots of it, I dusnt hafa share wif 4 udder lil dogs and I gets treats all da time!
My mommy is always saying I is her "big guy!" And my daddy...he loves to just pet me and give me kisses. Yeah.... I has it purty lucky I say. Maybe I shuld tell em I want a brudder or siser! :)

I luv yu mommy and daddy, fank yu fur taking me in when I needed yu!

Wow I won an award!!! I has been so busy helpin mommy and daddy wif da move dat I has hardly been on here, but now that I has time, I see dis!!! I am so honored and thankful to my friends at PAWS for this award.... my first!!!!
But wif dis award comes some vewy strong rules! So here they are:

It makes me sad, makes my mommy sad too to know dat there are so many of us wifout homes. Mommy says if her ever wins sumpin calld a lottery....watch out! :D

Mommies eyes are leaking enough now....so yes...GOD BLESS THE USA and we have candles lit to honor all in rembrance of 9/11.
